XIX CONGRESS 2017, 27 September - 1 October 2017, MAINZ, GERMANY

DEAR COLLEAGUES AROUND EUROPE!

The Bund Deutscher Forstleute (BDF) has the pleasure to invite you to the UEF Congress 2017, which will be held in the city of Mainz, Germany, from 27 September to 1 October 2017.

A seminar on “Change processes and change management in Forestry” including a half day excursion will take place on Thursday the 28 September. This Seminar will be hosted in cooperation between UEF, FECOF, BDF and Landesforsten Rheinland-Pfalz.

On 29^th of Sept. we will have the Statutory UEF Congress

and on 30^th of Sept. a fieldtrip to the Middle Rhine Valley is planned.

According to the UEF Statues proposals by member organizations for motions, which to be included in the agenda of the Congress must be given until 27^th of May to the Presidency.

REGISTRATION

Registration can easily be done by the registration form at this page.
In order to help the organisation team in organizing the Congress please register as early as possible, but latest 31^th of July.

The participation of forestry students from UEF member organizations will be promoted.
The participation of one student per organization can be sponsored with a 50 % reduction of the participation. Applications for this reduction should be sent by the same date as the registration for the GCM to the treasurer of UEF, Mr Björn Karlsson, by E-mail: bjorn.karlsson@sodra.com.

Please mention in the application the name of the student that will participate from your organization.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE – TRANSFER

Transportation will be given from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and from the main railwaystation in Mainz.

Participants should give details for flight numbers, arrival date/time and departure date/time.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to welcome every participant at the gate. Frankfurt airport is simply too big for that.

But you will receive detailed information about the meeting point, where we will pick you up at Frankfurt main airport.

PARTICIPATION FEES
The fee for participating in the whole programme from 27th of September to 1st of October (starting with dinner and ending with breakfast) is 630 EURO per person.

Accomodation in single rooms is obligatory.

(Double rooms might only be available in individual cases by special agreement.)
