UEF supports the International project for saving the Aral sea.

UEF could meet representatives of the Executive commitee of the International fund for saving the Aral sea in Geneva, during a FAO meeting.
This huge project is acting in a concrete way to save the former fourth largest lake in the world.
The aim of the project proposal is to improve ecological and socio-economic situation in the region, particularly:
to reduce wind erosion
to improve environmental situation
to involve the draind areas in economic activities
to restaure the loacl fauna and flora.
